Dream On

I dream of fine wine, a soft concerto,
a good woman in front of the fire.
We hug. She nuzzles. A kiss on her lips.
We whisper of each other's desires.
My dreams are simple; I don't want much,
just a few simple comforts will do.
I'm no hero or leader of others.
I simply want to my self be true.
A good mug of ale, a place to call home
No castle or fort, but a house'll be fine.
Mostly, a woman with whom to share;
she vows her heart, and I pledge her mine.
I dream and desire; I wonder and pray.
Is there someone out there who's alone.
Nay, not a one, there are none I can find.
So, I'll embrace this loneness I own.
