I Kneel Before You, Father

Dear God,we beseech You in these perilous times
to send your mercy to the Japanese island.
Spread Your almighty arms and bring the souls
of the dead to live in Your kingdom.
Embrace the injured, the near dead, O Lord,
that they may heal with Your touch.
Send Your Holy Spirit to walk among the people
and guide them to rebuild and prosper.
With great hand, Dear Lord, fan across their land,
so their crops may once again flourish.
Bless peoples of the world who provide support,
sustenance, labor and monies, and
Dear Father, send Your angels to aid the workers
that they may gain fortitude and hope.
Do these things, O God, as I kneel before you,
humbled and hopeful, Your flame in my heart.
