It’s like I’m Marty Mcfly in Back to the Future
I try so hard to go forward
But some how I’m back in the past
Back on the rock and roll, dole
3 years of hard work and yes I’m back on the slag heap

Must try to fix this dilemma
Get back in the rat race
Turn the frown into a happy face
From the ashes, rises the phoenix
One last hoorah, blaze of glory
Before the sunsets on life

Back on the dole in a deep hole
CV’s, job interviews, old news
I should be a ninja at this stuff
I should be able to Jedi mind trick my way to the top, I’ll try

Back on the dole

It’s like I’m Marty Mcfly in Back to the Future
I try so hard to go forward
