Array ( [sid] => 162654 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Waiting [time] => 2010-10-05 22:37:58 [hometext] => My boyfriend and I have been friends for 5 years. We had tried in the past to be together, and it's finally working. This poem is about our past and how we're dealing with his sudden move to North Carolina. [bodytext] => Always waiting
Waiting since the day you said no
All that time I had feelings for you
But you'd never know

Always Waiting
Waiting since the day I said no
This time seemed different
At that time you had feelings
But I'd never know

Always waiting
Waiting since the day we agreed
This time was different
I made you wait
To ask me to date

Always waiting
Waiting since the day you left
This time we are torn apart
Seventeen hours separates us
But we are together in heart

Always waiting
Waiting for the day you come home
We hope this difference will make us stronger
I wish forever lasted longer
With five years of history
This connection seems a mystery

Always waiting
I hate this waiting game
I need to hear your voice say my name
I need to see your eyes get lost in mine
I need you to know I'm yours for all of time.
