lines of red

lines of red with your glowing orbs
o how comforting you are
i hate to disturb your serene gift
a layer of blue to keep you close
you invade it's presence
you claim it as your own
the blue fades to nothing
amidst your astonishing shade
you are to be noticed, to be felt
ignorance will not be tolerated
the keyboard steals from your audience
bathing all that surrounds
in your undeniable power
commanding focus, ripping eyes from other sights
thoughts will never betray you
you own each and every reminiscent word
you will never be deserted
you will be chosen over all others
seeping into every cell of every being
space will be denied, privacy unacknowledged
breathtaking beauty, taunting temptation
you always lead this dance
your card always full of craving conquests
m for murderer they painted on the door
in lines of red
