Confusion

Confusion often overwhelms me,
I just don't know what to think,
The voices scream in my head,
And it leads to some crazy link,
Is this real gut instinct?
Am I actually right?
Or is this just pure paranoia,
Causing this continuous fight?
You always say to trust you,
But I trusted you before,
I wish I knew that I trusted you now,
But I'm just not so sure,
I know I really adore you,
I think that makes it so hard,
I want to trust you with everything,
But it seems everything is scarred,
I know you don't understand,
You probably never will,
But I'd really appreciate it if you stayed,
Together we could conquer this hill,
Still they keep on shouting,
Can they not just let me be?
I'm sure it will carry on,
Until everybody leaves me.
