I feel regret, with every girl I've met
As soon as we kiss I see it isn't you
As days go by the years seem to fly
And now I finally know why

Nothing gets me closer to you

People come and go, but I hope to show you
That nothing is ever written in stone
In the dark of night, I remember a light
