Window left open incase you wanted to come see me.
But instead the rain began to play.
A almost familiar song that I had heard before
Repetative and bleak but it was something i had come to adore.
Not the noise or the sound of the drizzle in the background
The way I drift off when it takes a hold.
My mind begains to trail off and run away
Just like the drops on my windowpane.
I cant think of anything for certain
Cause my windows still open and im still hurtin'
The wind blows in and reminds me im cold
I dont have a light so i cant see straight
And when i look to my window the moon stares to remind me your not late.

I'll keep my window open and hope for you to come
Remind me im only human and Im not on my own.
Take me from my room and into the rain.
Pull me by my hand and lead me away.
When in reality, tomorrows not another day.
Tomorrows never another day.
But for the moment i'll leave my window open and pray.
