[bodytext] => Indeed, I desire to love again. Yet it is difficult when you've been wounded by the selfish and immoral act of another. Your feelings deceived and your trust paralyzed by the venomous lies of one believed to be your true lover.

O' the pain felt by a heart which bleeds. What shame imposed upon a tongue which pleads. You're tormented by the question "why". You attempt to cloak yourself in a mask of strength, but you've been fatally weakened. Your confidence shook and your mind a maze. Inside you've died.

You give in to the tears, yet they flow in vain. For it's a stain not easily removed. You try to press forward, but with this cancer upon your heart. Soon it festers and becomes infected. Now coursing with the black blood of bitterness and regret, it no longer sustains life, it becomes the perfect dwelling place for death. You begin to seclude it, inorder to feel protected.

Indeed, I desire to love again. But how do I recover from such a blow? Again desiring to possess a friend and confidant, again longing for someone to hold. Yet taunted by the possibility of them too betraying me. Therefore I scrutinize the intentions and sincerity of those I meet. Emphasizing their faults and hunting for a reason to flee.

Scourning the laughter, hugs, and kisses of the anonymous lovers I witness. Their mockery wounds me even more. I now tread a sunless pathway, stumbling through life's routine. Isolated, I listen as silence plays it's score.

What resolve shall loose me from her haunting act?
Who will resuscitate me and bring me back?
