Monotonous moments mock meaning
until
a walk in the park
becomes
so much more.
Unavoidable miles of mud
welcome us.
My husband groans and swears(under his breath)
as his foot is cemented in the mud like concrete.
My daughter's foot is also stuck and
fear overcomes her.
I get her foot loose and then then begin laughing.
At first my husband, son, and daughter are upset and then
laughter echoes in between the forest's trees.
The moments in the mud of made lasting
impressions.
No soap will wash away these memories!
