I walked out the door
Not knowing what the day will be like
Or what I’m meant for

But I just keep walking
Smiling to myself
I just keep walking
Knowing soon I’ll be put on my shelf

But that’s okay with me
Because I have you
So I keep smiling
Knowing you have me too

How many times have I said
That I truly love you?
Apparently not enough
Because it still sounds so new

I see you smiling to yourself
Does that mean you love me too?
Because if it does then all I have to say
Is I sure love you!

There are no words to express
How I truly feel inside
So let’s go to the ocean
And stand by the tide

You see the waves
As they crash on the shore
That’s like the feelings I feel for you
And it’s what I’m truly made of

With the sun in my eyes
I walked out the door
Not knowing what the day will be like
