Oh Mossy,
You left without a goodbye,
But you never truly left me.
You'll be with me forever.
Oh Mossy,
Though you had few teeth,
And those you had left were green,
I miss your smile.
Oh Mossy,
Though it was infested with creatures unknown,
And one could compare it to a cardboard box,
I miss your house.
Oh Mossy,
Though it wasn't gourmet,
And it was made from only the cheapest ingredients from Walmart,
I miss your cooking.
Oh Mossy,
Though it reeked of a horrible stench,
And it dribbled from your mouth,
I miss your... Well truly, I do not miss your tobacco.
Oh Mossy,
But what I truly miss most of all
Is you, yourself.
You've taught me.
You've cared for me.
You've watched me grow to what I am today,
And after fifteen years of love and compassion,
You had to go.
Oh Mossy.
