Regret is my word.

Regret is my word
I've heard it several times before
Like from a girl, who means the world
realized i loved her more.
And each day goes by
and instead of getting better
it only gets worse
Regret is my word
Perfection is
something I miss, I held her close at night
An argument, the time we spent
painting each other with spite
well time is something you can't get back
but I'll be damned if I don't try
because perfection is
inside of her blue eyes
inside.
Love and Loss
are partners, it's all just give and take.
Someone always loves someone until somebody fakes.
Then you're left with nothing
but that sad look upon your face
you'll look to laughs and photographs
but they will not replace
they way you felt when it was just you two
curled up inside her place
it's too late.
The rain is pouring down the gutters
But it won't wash the leaves away
