Walk in morning Dew

As i walk in the morning dew the forest at it's best
the distant trees look down on me as i wander near
world of wonder peaceful dreams my mind can rest
morning mist greets me as a kiss of someone dear
Shimmer of light caress my face touch as of a lover
squirrel turns to look as the bracken cracks beneath
this forest haven to all behold nature earth mother
sit i ponder shed a tear my eyes look for every leaf
Wonder will you still be when i am long gone
will mankind learn of your need life's very seed
or will the chainsaw break your heart kill your song
lay down your soul for mans sin of want and greed
~If not for you no air to breathe~
~For you are life's giver and seed~
