Dearest Angel Boy:

I'll take you to the moon; I swear,
I'd take you to the Sun,
But always, always, it's never enough.
I hope you know just how beautiful you are
And that one day, doll, you're gonna go far.
You'll rise above this on your angel's wings
And leave all this: leave them, leave me.
That angel's smile - You know, it's the prettiest thing.
Oh, and when the boy starts to sing!
And yet he never thinks he's enough,
Always crying, waiting for love.
I do what I can to earn that smile,
But the angel doesn't see he's made my life worthwhile.
Pretty angel boy, I ask you today
Only to remember me as you fly away,
And know that I'll always remember you
Because to forget a Guardian Angel is something I just couldn't do.
