Love and Lust

It is summer,
and they say,
"Love is in the air."
But,
Truth be told,
I'm Love's only heir,
And the loom she left is you.
Reminding me to
Remember her,
She lives in us all,
Between me and you,
(or you and her)..
But Lust and Love
They are identical twins.
So very different,
But all the same pull you in.
I'm going out tonight,
Swimming, Dancing with Love,
And she'll ask for you.
"He fell for Lust again,"
I'll tell her.
"That B!"
She'll say.
"Why take him away?"
I'll get him back if I can,
If I only have time,
But you've stayed with Lust,
And you're falling in line.
It is Summer,
And Love is off somewhere,
Because truth be told,
I'm Love's only heir.
