As deep within my longing begins to grow.
And from the Heavens, I can hear angels cry;
With crystal tears, I feel my heart sigh.

And from my chest, my broken heart does fall;
Does fall until my very being itself became small.
And Sirens sing and fairies dance;
No good feeling do I receive from such romance.

And now as the sun itself does rise;
I feel the tears disappear from my eyes.
And from my bed, I rise once more;
To again follow my heart through the door

And when once the clock struck upon the midnight hour;
Then the atmosphere about my soul turned sour.
And from my heart, beneath my breast;
Came forth a surge without a rest.

And from my eyes, my tears begin to flow;
As deep within my longing begins to grow.
And from the Heavens, I can hear angels cry;
With crystal tears, I feel my heart sigh.

And from my chest, my broken heart does fall;
Does fall until my very being itself became small.
And Sirens sing and fairies dance;
No good feeling do I receive from such romance.

And now as the sun itself does rise;
I feel the tears disappear from my eyes.
And from my bed, I rise once more;
To again follow my heart through the door
