Black Roses(A Gothic Romance)

Born within a flickering of candlelight
A dark passion is being aroused
Clothed in thy ebony gown of midnight
As thou breathes, thy beauty is exposed
I present to thee, a thorny black rose
As a symbol of our love and passion
As thou grips thy symbol, thy scarlet flows
I taste thy scarlet with pure satisfaction
I smile as, within the hall, music begins to sound
To thee, my beauty, my arms I extend
Thine body next to mine, my heart begins to pound
And now, please, your hand would you lend?
In harmony our bodies sway in motion
As the dark music pervades our souls
Within my heart, there is a stirring of emotion
For I am so in love with you, my black rose
Woulds’t thee look into my eyes, my dear
And breathe life itself into me
When together we are both of good cheer
You are the darker side of heaven I see
I steal a kiss from thy blood red lips
The Earth itself freezes within time
Intoxicated as when from a fine wine one sips
A power only existing in the wisest bard’s rhyme
Skin softer than the silken black petals
While yet as pale as the moon
Thy body shimmers like the precious metals
Within your voice, the Sirens croon
What love spell hast thee cast upon me?
With thy grasp upon the blackness of magik
Thou always seems to be the only thing I see
For every second without thee is tragic
Our bodies flow around the hall as one
I can feel the passion flow from our souls
With such energy as from the sun
For I love you through eternity, my black rose.
