Nothing Else Feels Safe
I've always been more comfortable with Truth;
why trust in belief if you can empirically know?
When what I'm told just doesn't make sense,
I ask questions and don't back off till I get satisfactory answers;
I know Knowledge hasn't always been enough,
but when Truth finally opens the door,
I walk on through...
You bet I do!
Old habits die hard;
new ideas make you put up your guard,
but with extinction knocking at the door
you best investigate every card...
but with extinction knocking at the door
you best investigate every card...
Truth, Love and Knowledge;
Knowledge, Love and Truth;
Truth, Knowledge and Love
are universally neutral handles for God!
Truth, Knowledge and Love
are universally neutral handles for God!
I know! I know! I cheat!
Asperger's gives me a decided advantage!
My ability to trust and believe and belong
is the inverse of my need to know;
While you're security systems are socially-based,
mine is the bedrock of Knowledge and Truth;
nothing else feels safe...
I think I've made my case!
Old habits die hard;
new ideas make you put up your guard,
but with extinction knocking at the door
you best investigate every card...
but with extinction knocking at the door
you best investigate every card...
Truth, Love and Knowledge;
Knowledge, Love and Truth;
Truth, Knowledge and Love
are universally neutral handles for God!
Truth, Knowledge and Love
are universally neutral handles for God!
[chorded relief]
Old habits die hard;
new ideas make you put up your guard,
but with extinction knocking at the door
you best investigate every card...
but with extinction knocking at the door
you best investigate every card...
with extinction knocking at the door,
you best investigate every card...
