For so long I was your wife,
now all of a sudden I have
a new life.
Growing old together is
what I forseen,
I guess for you that
wasn't so keen.
Trouble came and
I went away,
you thought this was
your time to play.
I undersrtand
we hurt each other,
but the ultimate pain
was you found another.
I could not believe
who replaced me,
she is so bad for you
can't you see?
We want each other
to just be happy.
We couldn't seem
to do it and that
was real crappy.
We aren't together
as of today, but,
if you were happy
I might be okay!
You chose her because
you were mad at me
and look how miserable
you came to be,
everyone says they
can all see.
I've seen your face
and i'm sad to say,
your eyes are blank
and that's not okay.
So, now you tell me. . .
Was all of this
worth leaving me?
