The black Labrador bitch gave birth to
six whelps, overwhelmed her owner
squeezed their tiny necks till they were
quite dead and threw them into a shallow
grave. The good mother found them, dug
‘em up and miraculously one was still
alive, which she carried back to her lair
in the barn. A lucky survivor? One which
deserves to live? Alas life is much more
brutal than we think, the man couldn’t
afford more dogs so he killed that one too.
The black Labrador bitch runs up and
down the village only road looking for her
brood; soon she will forget and since she
isn’t spayed quickly be with a litter again.

Life’s A Bitch

The black Labrador bitch gave birth to

squeezed their tiny necks till they were
quite dead and threw them into a shallow
grave. The good mother found them, dug
‘em up and miraculously one was still
alive, which she carried back to her lair

The black Labrador bitch runs up and
