since we last spoke,
almost sad that I've kept track.

At first, when we did not speak,
I was baffled,
a bit torn.

After the initial disappointment,
I was fine,
I went out and had fun.

I'm now looking
all around, at the guys
I've passed up for months.

I flirt, I gawk,
all because my chase
after you is done.

I've moved on-
done with you,
done with your game.

When this is finished,
not a single more word
will be wasted on you.

No more sappy love poems
or lengthy entries in my journal-
at least not ones concerning you.

It was pleasant at first,
almost near friendship, I thought,
but clearly I was wrong.

Maybe one day you'll come around,
but until then, I must say,

Two weeks have gone past
since we last spoke,
almost sad that I've kept track.

At first, when we did not speak,
I was baffled,
a bit torn.

I'm now looking
