(on the old site) It’s about my marriage and what came of it. I left him Oct. 2, 1999. Haven’t returned. This write I have now, is I believe one of the last parts to my healing of learning to forgive someone who hurt me, someone who I stopped loving that night of abuse that took away 16yrs of what I thought was my life with one man, to be true. I grew up with abuse, so this doesn’t get a second chance, nor the fact he hadn’t any remorse for what he did, or ever say he was sorry. The pain inflicted was and still is intense. I’m trying to learn and open my heart to forgive my ex. This will take some time, and I pray I can do this and really open and free my heart and mind.
[bodytext] => I have a desire to be free
Free of the hatred of what I feel for my ex
I need to see past the pain of what he did to me
Work on seeing in me to pray for his unfeeling index
The list can go on, but I won’t let it be this way
To know what I need to do and act upon it
Is something that will take all of my soul to pray
Free me from him, to know he still can torment
My mind of what was, now, I must be
The one to open my heart, pray for him
From his evil misdeeds, let him see
The real truth of his own heart, hiding this sin
It will be difficult, I know
But its part of my healing to grow
And be myself, away from what was
Move to what is, a new heart that loves
