Which my mother always stated.
A phrase which lied and made me sad
A phrase which I always hated
To me this was the perfect man,
Tall ... Dark hair... Brown eyes
But who would have imagined, this was all made up
All a pack of lies
My doubts grew larger about the perfect man
And his love seemed to dissolve
Like sitting a baby with a jigsaw
He’s puzzle that’s hard to solve
All that was left of the perfect man
Were the memories of love at first sight
But as I grew fond and he backed off
The negativity began to take height
Tears were shed for the perfect man
Enough to replace the ocean
Everything seemed to drift down the drain
Leaving me with nothing but fear and emotion
But who would of thought that the perfect man
Could have a heart of stone
In fact he must’ve been a typical man
Because the perfect man, has never been known.

There’s no such thing as the perfect man,
Which my mother always stated.
A phrase which lied and made me sad
A phrase which I always hated

But who would have imagined, this was all made up
All a pack of lies
My doubts grew larger about the perfect man
And his love seemed to dissolve
Like sitting a baby with a jigsaw
