Your Poetry Dot Com - You Found Me

Inspired by a song I am
That makes me sit here and think
The Lord doesn't find us
Because He never left us

We live our lives as we want
as He is there silently by our side
and everything that happens in life
comes from the decisions we make

We can choose to live for Him and
Believe in everything He says
That would mean having faith
When we rather just give up

But the choice is ours and not
His to make He gave us free will
He is not man that should lie,
And He never comes late

God is not like us but He wants us
to be like Him
Though it’s difficult it’s not impossible
and He said this in His word

When we are broken, alone,
Lying on the floor and Lost
That’s when WE find HIM
And then He says I was waiting

I never left your side I waited,
Not too late but just on time
You had to go through what you
Went through so you could see,

See that I was there and let you
Live, I was there and let you learn,
I was there and let you break
So that I could come and make you new

Its only when we are broken and lost
And on our face that God can lift you up
Clean you off and mold you to
What He always had planned for you.

He didn’t find me I Found HIM...
