Love Me Too

Our love is not invited; we're not at all welcomed here
And we're pushed away, pulled apart, but listen, my dear
Nothing could ever tear me from you
The feeling's fresh, but it's nothing new
I love you...

Your hand touching sensually, or just in mine
Either way, either one, I feel perfectly fine
Where would I be without this love that grew
Can't explain how you help me, with everything I do
I love you...

Struggling so hard to savor this; make it last
Because someday I know that it will fly past
We belong together, like the sky and the colour blue
And I feel in my heart, yes I know it is true
I love you...

Morals and discrimination; I know what comes next
But love knows no gender, and lust knows no sex
Affection is just attraction; it really has no clue
And we are just two souls, trying to continue
Do you love me too...?
