Keep a Straight Face

My face is straight, my hands are tied
You can't read this poker face
My eyes pass over every face
And I instantly know I win
The looks on the other's faces
They look in a cold sweat
Except for the bluffer
But his eyes betray that bluff.

I sit at this table
Cards in hand
Texas Hold Em', Five Card Draw
Either way, I'll play it.
The more I win, the more I play
I'm addicted to the money
I suppose this will end badly
But, then again, I have the poker face to win

I have to tell them
'Keep a straight face
Otherwise, you know
That I'll win, as I do.'
Those fools never listen
Though really, they should
Because my threat, my advice
Is all the real deal

I have to keep a straight face when you sit across from me
Because I only want to smile; I only want to love you
To take you in my arms and kiss you
That would be such a dream, such a mystery, but such fun

Back to the table
It seems my mind was wandering
Onto thoughts of you
Thoughts of seeing you in class

Yeah, illegal games are the best
Playing poker with 18 year olds
I take their money because they never listen when I say
'You must keep a straight face.'

Maybe they just can't, but it's their loss.
Not mine.
