My heart seems to have grown strong It's taken in so much pain In the struggle to attain Your heart, your love My feelings for you have opened my eyes To a theory that may or may not surprise Love isn't always like those sappy love songs It has an ugly side That'll rip you up on the inside You once said you'd take a bullet for me How ironic that turned out to be I've taken only one bullet And it was from your gun I guess it must've been the sun That blinded you from knowing where you were shooting that thing You might want to work on your aiming Cuz' my heart's bleeding and you're my only bandaid Help me now, I'm becoming afraid That the pain of love will be the death of me Help me now...
