The wind is blowing Through leafless trees
I love the sound it puts me at ease
I hope and wait for it to snow
But yet again another no show
It makes me think when i was 7
All the snow that fell above from heaven
Everyting was white for miles around
The footprints of happiness all over the ground
Snow men armies surround the lands
Sticks and carrots their nose and hands
What a sight it was to see
All the cold red faces filled up with glee
But now i sit here in 2009
Praying and dreaming of the time
A time of snow A time of white
An old irish winter oh what a sight
