A Chance Worth Taking
Date: Sunday, 2nd November 2008 @ 11:14:18 PM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry

Watching the minutes gather,
Wishing they wouldn’t blow away.
An impossibility I hold in my arms
With no words good enough to say.
World continues all around us
So beautiful I cringe and hide.
Thinking only of what I can’t lose,
A war of thought fought inside.
A stumbling toddler reaching out,
Emerging from a rolling ball of fear.
Unable to spill those little words,
All I know is that I want you here.
