Give me one more chance,
before we crash and burn.
You messed up last time,
so I guess now, it's my turn.

I didn't mean to screw it up,
I never wanted things to change.
Everything's so different now-
without you near to me,
it all seems so strange.

I don't want to push you further away than I already have,
but I need to try,
to get you to hear me.
Because all I do at night is lay there and cry.

I know it's hard for both of us,
and I'm probably only making it worse.
Now I know why people say that love is such a curse.

You want to party, and stay out to play.
Through this all I will be waiting-
for when you might come back to me.
Right now I can only dream of such a day.

So go have your fun and enjoy.
Always remember that in my heart,
you will forever by my highschool sweetheart boy.

Keep those happyy, loving thoughts
of us in your mind.
Please don't feel pressured by me,
just take your time.

I know you'll make the best choice,
for you and your soul.
All I ask, is that you not forget to let me know.

Until that time, I'll let you be,
to make your final decision
without the influence of me.

Many tears and smiles will come your way,
and laughter may fill your entire day,
but please remember my words,
and what I hope is still in your heart,
so that bit by bit,
and part by part,
we can get through this.
