Her fingers cool, on my heated skin
So long is this, my cold chagrin
What was can be, as strong, what was
I ask at night, amongst the stars
A child-like hope, a wish is made
Too long to tell, for hope to fade
Relinquish not, fall to the fray
Her cool touch, is what I pray
That I may find my way again
To her sanctum where it all began
