Take a trip down the dirt
In the middle of the dark
Theres a boy in a sports coat
Who lives in the park
He feeds from the bags
Lives off tin cans
Says “pride is the steel
That cuts through his hands”
He was lost in the nineties
Found not so long back
Still stumbling around
On the wrong side of the track
He lives in the day
But he cry’s alone in fright
He says “pride is the street lamp
That keeps him up at night”
