At Night

At night, when all is quiet and at peace
Thoughts disturd those of unsure minds
Minds tha wander minds that are unclear
Wishes come true through the minds open eyes
But quickly snuffed out by those of true life
At night when free to will, free to open those wings
And take flight in pure escasty, in holy matramony
Minds play out life how it should be how it could
Be but harsh comes knocking and bangs
Down the door that has kept itself closed
At night things seem better, seem forgiving
But looks can be decieveing and words
Turn into lies, struggling for the light but only
Touching black, eyes slowly opening
A single tear slides down the cheek
