~Upon my field of Flowers~

In the midst of the blue there is the field of flowers.
Petals refreshing souls a miss bringing forth hope of a new day.
Our minds troubled and fears rest uneasy near the heart.
We can rest in flourishing rains and remember the fields of flowers.
The hands of midnight reaching down we slip inside of ourselves.
We search in the darkness praying for a new dawn.
Understanding our angels are watching and waiting with the stars.
We gather emotions and sift through each one, knowing we have our self.
We are not always lost and a small boat tossing in the ocean waves.
Off in the distance the lighthouse sits, winking a golden eye.
Mighty oceans nor the storm, can keep us from the shore.
We are stronger than once thought we become the waves.
Those mighty torrents that tossed us about
Have since ceased their tantrum
While diamonds shining in the midnight keep watchful eye
Washing the mind clean of age’s fear and doubt
The hands of midnight reaching down keeping the weary traveler in their embrace
Praying for nights end and the birth of a new morn
As the first rays of morning fly by angel’s wing warming the troubled soul
While thanking God for His glory and for Heaven’s grace
Closing tired eyes reminiscing of that field of flowers
And of the dew drops nestled between every petal with the arrival of the morning
Clear and free what once was a troubled mind now takes flight upon the wind
Forgetting every trouble that time has wrought while resting upon my field of flowers
