We're not really breaking up,
Just taking a step back.
We were too close,
Too fast,
And it scared you.
You don't want me classified
As a rebound guy.
You still love me.
You still want to talk
And hangout,
Be friends,
All of these things,
Then a classic:
You need to find yourself
Again.
Your eyes,
Your kiss,
Your hug,
They all say you love me,
And that these things are true.
But why does it sound
Like goodbye,
When you say it's not?
Why do I feel like I'm
Not good enough?
Why do I feel like
I'm losing you?
I won't hold my breath,
But if you change your mind,
I'll be right here
Waiting for you,
Always
Loving you. You tell me
We're not really breaking up,
Just taking a step back.
We were too close,
Too fast,
And it scared you.
You don't want me classified
As a rebound guy.
You still love me.
You still want to talk
And hangout,
Be friends,
All of these things,
Then a classic:
You need to find yourself
Again.
Your eyes,
Your kiss,
Your hug,
They all say you love me,
And that these things are true.
But why does it sound
Like goodbye,
When you say it's not?
Why do I feel like I'm
Not good enough?
Why do I feel like
I'm losing you?
I won't hold my breath,
But if you change your mind,
I'll be right here
Waiting for you,
Always
Loving you.
