~I plead Insanity~

Hands are numb,
this body of mine dwindling.
senses of mine deaf and dumb.
I have two minds,
not one in the same.
But still I can't ignore this pain.
These voices I hear inside my head,
tell me I'm worthless,
and fill me with dread.
The other side of my mind argues back,
saying I'm loved.
I start losing track.
My mind is filled with this insanity,
day in and day out,
Can't I live without this irregularity?
I need to be locked away,
where I am only a danger to myself.
So I sit here and wait for the day,
that my mind will dwindle out.
I wait for the day,
when I will be taken away.
I plead insanity,
just for the love of humanity.
So I will sit here arguing with myself.
Hoping that one day they will here my cry,
someday before I die,
they will here me,
with my plea for insanity.
