The Disgrace of Love
Date: Wednesday, 2nd April 2008 @ 04:01:27 AM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry
Contributed By: dreamer_4_eternity
As much as I wish I could be with you
I understand that it's a wish that won't be coming true
A heart, a hand, a smile to share
I don't expect you to show me you care
For I lost you once, I can do it again
It doesn't matter how long it's been
People see me with a tear-stained face
Funny how something as good as love can disgrace
I know that you left and you aren't coming back
These words I send to you are not an attack
Merely a way to get this fact through my mind
I'm no longer yours, and you're no longer mind.
