Body Love
Date: Saturday, 2nd February 2008 @ 07:53:05 PM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry
Contributed By: inlovewithaladd
my body is loyal, enduring, and strong
my body tore out of bed at five a.m. and
lasted me through ten p.m. every day of boot camp
my body pushes me past the three mile mark.
it has fought cold after cold, and worked through them all,
my fingers touch soft fibers, my mind thrills,
my body brings me pleasure
young, fit, and strong,
i marvel that i ever feel like less.
may you love your body.
