Dodder, love
Date: Thursday, 3rd January 2008 @ 06:31:37 PM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry

Dodder, love, as the leaves of a tree, for you lie weightily upon the boughs of my heart, and through lonely years have grown brittle and cold. Shake free from me, fall from earthly form into the width of course seas, and flow from here to the vague, innumerable stars that in your likeness once held for me the consolation of a bright and vivid hope.
