You'll Haunt Me

You are my touchstone, my feather, my far-reaching love
My rain fall, my moonbeam, my gift from above
In darkness, in agony, you heal my pain
My breathing, my blood flow, my glorious gain
Your heart is imprinted, your scent fills my dreams
The light to my darkness, your whisper, my screams
The seas to my mountains, the rain to my drought
The pen to my parchment, the sense to my doubt
You are the reason I get up each day
The last thing I think of each night as I pray
It's you that I dream of at night in the myst
Your arms that I yearn for, your heat that I miss
You are my touchstone, my feather, my first and last love
My savior, my heart-mate, my prayer from above
And now that it's spoken, now that you know
You'll haunt me forever, but I'll let you go.
