Her whole life seems a waste
No strength for a new start
What she has is frost on her heart

How has she come to this place?
Looking back at decisions she traces
Choices made that were wrong
People echoing the same song

Broken down she cries in her room
Knowing He will be coming home soon
And of the drama she will have a main part
Adding to the frost on her heart

Can she dig deep to the spring she left behind?
Can she still courage and strength find?
One last decision she makes to go
How or to where she does not know

Packing all she owns in a battered suitcase
She plans to slip away without a trace
Starting a clean page on her life chart
Slowly the frost starts to melt on her heart

As the years pass she has come to know
She was right to finally pick up and go
She has opened up and given love room
Now summer flowers in her heart blooms

Take the advice of this woman sage
Move on and start a new life’s page
Don’t lie stagnant accepting the darts
That, tend to build frost on your hearts

Icy words spoken in haste
Her whole life seems a waste
No strength for a new start
What she has is frost on her heart

How has she come to this place?
Looking back at decisions she traces
Choices made that were wrong
People echoing the same song

Broken down she cries in her room
Knowing He will be coming home soon
And of the drama she will have a main part
Adding to the frost on her heart

Can she dig deep to the spring she left behind?
Can she still courage and strength find?
One last decision she makes to go
How or to where she does not know

Packing all she owns in a battered suitcase
She plans to slip away without a trace
Starting a clean page on her life chart
Slowly the frost starts to melt on her heart

As the years pass she has come to know
She was right to finally pick up and go
She has opened up and given love room
Now summer flowers in her heart blooms

Move on and start a new life’s page
Don’t lie stagnant accepting the darts
That, tend to build frost on your hearts
