Eating at what was left
of a woman, so scorned.

Hot metal rods
thin and cruel
pierce my temples.
Excruciating pain befalls me.

The grip that I so
frailly have on this
reality called life,
slips more each long day.

Left alone within.
Hopelessness abounds.
Eyes have been clouded
over with Cataractous lies.

Pieces of me scattered,
hacked away at the core.
Nothing left to sweep up, I was
blown away when you opened that door...
