JUST AWAY

God gave us a wonderful daughter,a daughter that never grows old. He gave her a smile of sunshine, And moulded her heart of pure gold. In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,IN her cheeks fair roses you see. GOD made a wonderful daughter, And He gave her to you and me. Now the hurt is so deep, And i will not say , that she is dead-- she's just away. With her bright smile, and a wave of her hand, She has wandered into the unknown land. And left us dreaming how very fair, That land must be since she lingers there. Mom and DAD, yes how sadly we yearn, For an old time visit and your return. WE'LL think of you fairing on as dear, In the land of love as our love is here. And we'll think of you as the same I say ,YOU are not dead "HONEY" you're just away.
