Je l’aime beaucoup
Elle m’amuse
Avec la lune dans le ciel très noir.

J’aime la nuit!
Parce qu’elle est très belle
Les étoiles brillantes
Scintillent dans le ciel très noir.

J’aime la nuit!
Elle ne m’effraye pas
Elle me donne la joie
Mais seulement parce qu’elle est moins noir que ma cœur très noir.

J’aime la nuit!
Sa présence est un cadeau.

I love it a lot
She amuses me
With the moon in the sky so dark.

I love the night!
Because she is so beautiful
The bright stars
Twinkle in the sky so dark.

I love the night!
She does not frighten me
She gives me joy
But only because she is not as dark as my heart so black.

I love the night!

J’aime la nuit!
Je l’aime beaucoup
Elle m’amuse
Avec la lune dans le ciel très noir.

J’aime la nuit!
Parce qu’elle est très belle
