Star Shine

Night time
The darkness
seems to flow
in gentle waves
Clothes hanging
out on the line
Late evening wash
Stars out
Silver specks of light
shining brightly
Gentle breeze
stirs the country calm
The fabric softener smell
wafts through
the night time air
So quiet
So peaceful
and comforting
I turn my head skywards
and simply soak in the
star shine
