out there, still there, where it goes out till forever,
from here, near there, the lyrical memory
tries so hard to sieze the day's
dreary, teary eyed sunrise, hidden
in cloud's misty belief--Faith

in the future, remembers the past,
everything from here, goes there
and everything there, dreams of here,
at night--wake up, in sleep, wipe sleep
from eyes

it's mind control--skill
corruption of thoughts,
destruction of soul, take control
of your life's path, take breaths,
feel chests, rise and fall,
it's the beginning, the middle
and end

touching and weaving between the lines
drawn, invisibly across your face,
it's obvious--prisoners lie inside
trapped behind the bars of your skull's
brain stem, they scream,

every day it's the same day,
every way exactly resembles the last phrase,
last haze, yesterday, give me another
beer, last year's new years after party,
same drinks, same place, same face

pass away the day thinking of another
time, when each day was it's own,
when one meant one,
and all felt one,
the same, each thought
inspired others, when
thoughts of future aspirations
felt real, when hope
was all that there was.
