You have written upon my heart
" I will always love you "
And never will it depart

When I see you dear
With those brilliant emerald eyes
The little girl smile
Always takes me by surprise

Surprise at how your beauty
Grows day by day
Every time I see you
It affects me that way

Your heart glows so brightly
It highlights your soul
And your exciting manner
Can easily make me lose control

I ache to touch your face
Wipe dangling strands from your eye
Whisper softly “ I love you “
Expound the reasons why

To taste tender lips
Explore passions sweet
Feel the hunger of the flames
Building with every heartbeat

To feel your delicate hands
Caress in gentle adoration
Hear you say I am your man
A most humbling oration

The reason I love you
Is now clear for all to see
You’re the inspiration in my life
A miracle to me

When I see you dear
