Please don't screw this up
You must tell me the truth
Don't lie and cheat and mess with me
No hiding in a darkened booth
Look at me when you speak
Think about the things you do
Do unto others, always seemed good
All the answers are inside of you
How strong are you
What can you tolerate
Hurting the one you love
Obviously didn't make you feel so great
I'm afraid you'll try to handle this
As you always do
Fight and conquer all within yourself
Superman gets depressed too
No more hiding what gnaws inside
Cut it loose and set it free
Do not worry about what you say
Nothing could further shock me
I've learned through all this
Just a few things about us
We're connected, it's true
And I'm glad we got on the bus
~~And as the boys would say
"that's when it all began"

Laura Horner
"that's when it all began" is a line from the Grateful Dead tune..."That's It For The Other One". I've enclosed the stanza the line derived from:
"Escapin' through the lily fields
I came across an empty space
It trembled and exploded
Left a bus stop in its place
The bus came by and I got on
That's when it all began
There was cowboy Neal
At the wheel
Of a bus to never-ever land"
Words and music by Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, and Bill Kreutzmann
