To Call You My Dad

Topic: Sad Poetry

Contributed By: Tahany

You yell and you scream
You say such mean things
You say it's my fault and
Act like you're king.

You act like your king
Of the house and the world.
I sit and I listen
With out saying a word.

I should speak up
And tell you, you're wrong.
I should stick up for myself
And show you I'm strong.

But I'm afraid of you
Because you treat me so bad.
I hate that I'm forced
To call you my dad.
